We are ideally positioned just over 1 mile from the western end of the Quantock Ridge in Somerset, and we are 4 miles from Exmoor. Located just 16 miles from the M5 makes us very easy to find. To make the most of your holiday we offer a complete package of:

  • Self-guided route plans and GPS routes individually designed for your ability and stamina Drop off at start points and emergency pick-up
  • Access to wash down and fully equipped mountain bike workshop
  • Suspension mountain bikes for hire
  • Weekend or longer holidays
  • Self-catering accommodation
  • Outdoor heated swimming pool

All you have to do is choose the type of ride that you want and you and your bike will be transported to the start point on the Quantock Ridge or the Exmoor high point taking the sting out of the first climb.

Our aim is to give you the opportunity to enjoy the mountain biking of this truly challenging and exciting countryside. Our well-planned routes will allow you to either test your off-road techniques or just to marvel at the scenery.

We are committed to preserving the environments in which we cycle and we support the local communities and villages in this unique area of England. Exmoor and Quantock MTB Holidays is carefully and thoughtfully run by husband and wife team Pete and Anne Harrison.

Pete is our excellent route planner, guide and mechanic. He has experience in The Scottish Highlands, has gained his Winter Mountain Leadership Certificate (MLCW) in North Wales, and has the OTC Certifications in MTB Leadership. He knows the Quantocks and Exmoor intimately and never likes to be beaten up a hill!!

Anne keeps everyone well fed with huge country breakfasts, home made cakes and biscuits, drives the cyclists to the start of their rides in a mammoth 4x4 Ford Truck and generally maintains the easy atmosphere.
